Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in the collection and processing of blood samples for diagnostic testing. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to provide exceptional patient care will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services.
Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood samples Label and properly store collected specimens for laboratory testing Verify patient information and maintain accurate records of blood samples Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to ensure infection control Provide exceptional patient care by addressing their concerns and ensuring their comfort during the blood collection process Maintain cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy equipment and work area – Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times Experience Excellent knowledge of venipuncture techniques and blood collection methods Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately label specimens Proficient computer skills for data entry and record keeping
