Certified Medical Assistant Position Available In Martin, Florida

Certified Medical Assistant Independence Ear Nose & Throat, LLC 1400 NW Federal Highway, Stuart, FL 34994 We are currently seeking a full-time, experienced Certified Medical Assistant for our busy specialty practice. We are interested in people who are looking for long term employment. Those who are interested in establishing a career with our practice will have the opportunity to advance and move into additional roles, including areas like vestibular testing, allergy testing, and possibly management. Candidates with at least one year of experience working as a certified medical assistant are preferred. Applicants with prior experience working with an EHR (preferably eClinicalWorks) will be given priority.

The duties include:

taking patient history and vitals, charting in electronic medical records, transmitting prescriptions, assisting providers with in-office procedures, cleaning and sterilizing instruments, greeting patients and escorting them to various rooms throughout their visit, scheduling appointments, answering phones, checking patients in and out, and other clerical duties as needed. The position requires the ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, team environment. Effective communication, a positive attitude and customer service skills are a must. The position also requires someone who can reliably show up to work, on time, as scheduled. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. No weekends or holidays.
