Are you passionate about helping others and looking to make a Difference in a healthcare setting long term with room for growth? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual for Medical Administrative Assistant at Omega Medical Group, a Podiatry Medical Office. We are a small private practice that believes in ” helping others Heal from the Feet to the Soul in such a way that we leave Foot prints.” This role is essential in the day to day operations with our patients with the goal to expand to support the Doctor in ensuring that the over all business of the office are run smoothly & professionally, including ensuring the Dr.’s obligations are completed. To ensure effective leadership, the successful candidate will begin by mastering the essentials front office operations as receptionist, and then cross trained in the other areas of our office in order to successfully master our workflow.
Key Responsibilities :

Learn and Execute Basic Admin Office Tasks:
Start by mastering foundational front office administrative duties to gain a thorough understanding of daily operations.
- Register and schedule patients according to established protocols through our electronic medical records (EHR).
- Answer incoming calls, collecting patient payments.
- Ensure patient information is accurately completed, included billing/insurance information.
- Insurance Verification
- Assisting Checking In & Out patients.
- Report Statistics as required, including daily Day End Reports.
- Maintain Dr.’s Schedule filled with Efficient patients, ensuring optimal patient flow and satisfaction.
- Maintain Front office organized & welcoming for our patients
- Complete other administrative duties as assigned, including helping back office as needed.
- Ensure patient’s have an optimal experience during their visit, while safeguarding patient privacy.

Team Collaboration:
Work closely with team members to identify areas for improvement and streamline office procedures.
- After mastering the front office lead then to grow in assisting the Doctor in overseeing efficient daily operations of the office.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 year’s experience in administrative or customer service, with a willingness to thrive in a growing medical environment, and start from the ground up.
- Someone who values Service as a high priority while being Solution driven.
- People Skills (both with staff & patients) for the success of practice. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, preference in being bilingual.
- Proficiency in office software and management tools.
- Cheerful, positive, team player attitude.
- Have reliable transportation.
