Job Description
PT Medical Assistant Miki and Alfonso Hand and UpperExtremity Center Miami, FL 33173 The Clinical/Medical Assistant assists the orthopaedic/hand surgeon in clinical work on clinic days Tuesdays, Thursdays and every other Friday. Patients are scheduled from 9am to 5pm. Flexibility to work past 5pm is required. Days are fast-paced. Job responsibilities include completing clinical notes, applying braces and casts (can be taught), suturing and removing stitches (can be taught), preparing injections (can be taught), and facilitating physician’s ability to transition between patients, etc. Applicant must be able to write well in English. Applicant must be dedicated to assisting physician with fast-paced clinical hours and must be responsible, professional and detail-oriented. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Hourly pay range starts at $14.00 to $15.00 based on experience. Increases in pay are merit based following evaluations. Full-time position may be offered at later date if a full-time position opens.
