The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with allergy testing and treatment procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to established protocols. This position requires a strong background in medical-surgical practices, coding, and emergency medicine, particularly within a hospital environment. Duties Conduct allergy tests under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider. Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring accurate dosage and adherence to safety protocols. Maintain patient records, including coding for allergy-related diagnoses and treatments. Assist in the management of patient care within a Level I Trauma Center setting. Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and implement patient care plans. Monitor patients for adverse reactions during allergy testing and provide immediate care as needed. Utilize X-Ray systems when required for diagnostic purposes. Uphold basic life support standards and respond effectively to emergencies. Experience Previous experience in a medical-surgical or hospital setting is preferred. Familiarity with coding practices related to allergy treatments is advantageous. Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols and procedures is essential. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or similar high-acuity environment is desirable.
