Job Description:

We are looking for a versatile and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. This role includes rotating between back office (clinical) and front office (administrative) responsibilities. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, able to multitask, and have a strong focus on vaccine administration and inventory management . Experience with Athenahealth (Athena) EMR is required .

Key Responsibilities:

Rotate between clinical and front office tasks Take vitals, prepare patients for exams, assist providers Administer vaccines and maintain proper documentation Track and manage vaccine and supply inventory Greet patients, manage check-in/out, and handle phone calls Document visits and tasks using Athena EMR Follow HIPAA and OSHA protocols Deliver excellent customer service and work well within a team

Requirements:

(pediatrics preferred) Proficiency in Athenahealth EMR is required High attention to detail, especially with vaccines and inventory Strong multitasking and communication skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus MA certification preferred but not required

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday Requires occasional Saturdays (typically one per month)
