We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Bilingual Medical Assistant with phlebotomy experience to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish and capable of providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities include performing blood draws, EKGs, ear lavages, and H. pylori testing, along with general clinical and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with precision and care Conduct 12-lead EKGs and prepare documentation for provider review Administer ear lavages and assist with minor procedures Perform and process H. pylori breath or stool tests Take and record vital signs, update patient charts, and assist during exams Maintain specimen labeling, storage, and lab preparation Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and follow infection control standards Communicate effectively with patients in both languages to explain procedures and provide instructions Support front and back office operations as needed

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program Certified in phlebotomy (required or as per state regulations) Bilingual in English and Spanish — fluency required Experience with EKGs, ear lavage, and point-of-care lab testing preferred Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail Current BLS certification (preferred)
