Medical Assistant Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support in various clinical and administrative tasks, including patient updates, data entry, and triage. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Candidate must be a bilingual Spanish speaker. Responsibilities Conduct follow-ups with patients Update patient records and enter data accurately Answer inbound phone calls and provide excellent customer service Order labs and relay lab results to patients Schedule follow-up appointments Perform triage and provide clinical support Requirements Medical experience as a Medical Assistant High School Diploma Proficiency in EMR systems, particularly Athena Knowledge of medical terminology Experience in ordering labs and managing lab results Strong customer service skills Ability to handle patient care and appointment scheduling Additional Skills Medical Assisting diploma or certification or 1+ years of MA experience preferred but not required Work Environment This position will be onsite at a primary care clinic in Orlando, 32818, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
