OnSpot is an innovative mobile dermatology practice in Central Florida that provides full-service dermatology care for resident communities and businesses alike. We utilize two 45′ mobile medical clinic as well as a physical office in downtown Orlando to bring convenient care directly to patients. With our model, we can bring a full-service dermatology practice anywhere in the area! Our mission is to improve access to dermatologic care while making appointments convenient, efficient, and patient-centered. Our state-of-the-art mobile medical vehicles include multiple private exam rooms and the first ever mobile Mohs surgery outfit to combine a mobile Mohs lab with custom surgical suites. If you are a Medical Assistant with experience in dermatology looking to assist in true patient-centered care, OnSpot is the place for you. Ideal candidates must be self-starters, dependable, and able to work with a team. The drive to provide excellent customer service is also a valued personal trait here at OnSpot. We are seeking part-time MAs with hours varying from Monday through Saturday, 7:00AM to 4:00PM. If you were to be offered a job with OnSpot, this is what your day may look like: Prepare clinic for Mohs surgery days by packing our mobile lab with necessary supplies, instruments, sutures, Mohs materials, etc. Prepare for day by prepping instruments and gauze in autoclave, creating and loading Mohs maps and prepping syringes. Assist Mohs surgeon on Mohs surgery days and perform daily tasks which may include: Room and intake patients completing the medical history, chief complaint, and review of systems. Scribe for the surgeon. Assist the provider during MOHS and excisions. Assist the provider as needed on minor procedures. Order additional testing, as requested by the provider. Ensure all specimens are meticulously labeled, processed, and sent to the appropriate lab as needed. Schedule follow-up appointments when needed. Be willing to perform duties outside your normal job description when you have available hours. Smile, converse and treat all patients in a warm and friendly manner. .
