Bilingual Medical Assistant – Kissimmee, FL Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting patient care and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our clinic. Responsibilities + Perform follow-up tasks and update patient data through data entry. + Answer inbound phone calls and handle patient inquiries professionally. + Order laboratory tests and relay lab results to patients and healthcare providers. + Schedule follow-up appointments for patients and assist in triaging patient needs. + Provide clinical support and assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care. Essential Skills + Minimum 1+ year of experience in Medical Assisting. + High School Diploma required. + Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, preferably Athena. + Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Medical Assisting diploma or certification preferred but not required. + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is advantageous. + Experience in customer service and front desk operations. + Proficiency in appointment scheduling and insurance handling. Work Environment The role is based onsite at a clinic, operating Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $18.00/hr.
