Medical Assistant – Kissimmee, FL Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional support in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical assisting and be adept at handling administrative tasks, patient care, and clinical support. Responsibilities Conduct follow-ups and update patient records through data entry. Answer inbound phone calls and provide exceptional customer service. Order labs and relay lab results to patients. Schedule follow-up appointments and manage appointment scheduling. Perform triage and provide clinical support as needed. Essential Skills Minimum of 1 year experience in Medical Assisting. Diploma or certification in Medical Assisting preferred. High School Diploma required. Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records, specifically Athena EMR. Strong understanding of medical terminology. Experience in ordering labs and managing patient care. Additional Skills & Qualifications Excellent customer service skills. Experience with front desk operations. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is advantageous. Knowledge of insurance procedures is a plus.
