Bilingual Medical Assistant – Cypress Parkway, FL Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting patient care and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our clinic. Responsibilities Perform follow-up tasks and update patient data through data entry. Answer inbound phone calls and handle patient inquiries professionally. Order laboratory tests and relay lab results to patients and healthcare providers. Schedule follow-up appointments for patients and assist in triaging patient needs. Provide clinical support and assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care. Essential Skills Minimum 1+ year of experience in Medical Assisting. High School Diploma required. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, preferably Athena. Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices. Need to be Bilingual in Spanish and English Additional Skills & Qualifications Medical Assisting diploma or certification preferred but not required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is advantageous. Experience in customer service and front desk operations. Proficiency in appointment scheduling and insurance handling. Work Environment The role is based onsite at a clinic, operating Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm .
