This individual must be multitask oriented and motivated. Applicants must have strong customer service orientation and good interpersonal skills, reliable, team player with an outgoing, professional, helpful and friendly attitude. Back office processing of specimen for internal testing and sent to outside labs. Escort patients to exam rooms, measure vital signs, and document all information in patient’s medical record. Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies. Assisting in MOHS, Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls. Return telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls. Maintain all logs and required checks (i.e. refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, expired medications, oxygen, cold sterilization fluid change, etc.)All other duties as assigned by clinical coordinator or practice administrator

Requirements:

• Medical Assistant Certificate from an accredited institution
• Minimum 1-year experience as Medical Assistant
• Drug Test and Criminal Background Screening
• Computer skills experience is a must
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with patients in a kind, tactful and professional manner
• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
• Team player
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must have Excellent problem solving skills
