Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Perform basic life support (BLS) as needed and maintain current certification. Manage patient intake processes, including recording medical histories and vital signs. Prepare patients for lab work or office procedures and conduct them. Maintain accurate medical records and assist with coding for billing purposes. Support the healthcare team in various settings, including lab, vitals, and patient rooms. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and infection control measures. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans and follow-up care. Skills Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management. Knowledge of medical practices and urgent care/ emergency protocols.
