The ideal candidate will support physicians and other medical satff by performing. Administrative and clinical tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the practice or healthcare facility.

Duties:

• Greet and check-in patients
• schedule appointment and follow-up visits
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
• Handle billing, insurance claims, and payments
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with

HIPPA Regulations Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, ect. )
• Assist physicians during exams and minor procedures.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
• Administer medications and injections as directed by a physician.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist with minor surgical procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Provide patient education and instructions on medication, diet, and lifestyle changes
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow “`

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Proficiency in medication administration, including inhalation techniques
• Basic life support (BLS) certification
• Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
