Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with our patients in a kind, tactful and professional manner. Must have excellent telephone skills, be a team player, and work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to use the computer, and have experience with Electronic Medical Records. Must have knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities Include:

Making appointments and checking in patients. Verifying Insurance coverage Posting payments and collections.. Securing referrals and collecting Insurance co-pays. Ensuring that all related Reports, labs and information are available in patient’s medical records prior to being seen by the Physician. Escorting patients to exam rooms, measuring vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, and pulse Documenting medical history and medical information in the patient’s medical record. Returning telephone messages and providing answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls.
