PM Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative functions in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This role offers a consistent schedule and the opportunity to work closely with both patients and providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform both front and back-office administrative and clinical duties Draw blood samples (phlebotomy) and prepare them for lab testing Conduct EKGs to assist with cardiac evaluations Perform Point-of-Care (POC) testing (e.g., glucose checks, rapid strep) Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care Room patients and ensure they are ready for examinations Record and monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant Current BLS/CPR certification required Excellent clinical skills and high attention to detail Ability to multitask effectively and maintain a professional demeanor Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is a plus
