PART TIME

Medical Assistant / Medical Receptionist. Specifically, we are looking for a friendly, outgoing person who can relate well to co-workers and patients and who is familiar with health insurance and medical terminology. We offer a competitive salary, 1-3 DAYS

PER MONTH

(no evenings or weekends) with opportunities to increase work hours. The specific tasks of the job are varied and include the following: Greet and register patients- Handle front administrative tasks Triaging phone calls, scheduling, verifying insurance and getting precerts for procedures Perform all required triage duties (vitals, height/weight) Direct patients to available examination rooms Basic clinical intake. (Experience with EMR is required. We use eClinical Works, but experience with other EMRs is adequate.) Collect biological specimens and perform testing when requested Ensure each room is cleaned after each patient encounter Assist Physician with patient care when requested Administer medications under a doctor’s supervision Sterilization of all medical instruments after use Replenish supplies in the exam rooms Ensure patient flow is speedy and organized Discharge patients from room with instructions We put a great deal of effort into training and we will cross train you as necessary.
