Medical Assistant -Outpatient Medical Center Gulf Coast Medical Center Port Richey, FL 34668 About the Role We are seeking a reliable, patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our growing outpatient medical center. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing hands-on patient care and supporting providers in a busy, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Room patients, take and record vital signs, and update medical histories Prepare exam rooms and assist providers with exams and in-office procedures Perform EKGs, collect lab specimens, and administer injections or vaccines as directed Manage documentation accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR) system Provide patient education and follow-up instructions Ensure exam rooms and equipment are clean and stocked Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow Qualifications Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred Minimum 1 year of experience in an outpatient or clinical setting (preferred) Familiarity with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks experience a plus) CPR certification (required or willingness to obtain) Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented What We Offer Competitive hourly pay and benefits package Weekday schedule with no nights or weekends Supportive work environment and strong leadership Opportunity for professional development and advancement Apply today and become a valued part of our patient-centered care team!
