The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, emergency medicine, and the ability to perform various clinical tasks efficiently. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Perform basic life support and emergency response as needed. Conduct routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and assisting with dermatology procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including coding for insurance purposes. Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care. Qualifications Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures and terminology is a plus. Experience in emergency medicine or working in a hospital environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with coding practices for insurance claims processing is an asset. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
