Allergy Technician/Medical Assistant Central Florida ENT Lakeland, FL 33805 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Allergy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of physiology and medical terminology, with experience in Allergy Testing and Protocols, Hour waits, Routine injections, Scheduling Allergy Testing, Documenting Antigen request, Mixing Antigen . This role is essential in providing high-quality care to patients with allergies, ensuring their comfort and safety during treatment. The Allergy Technician will work closely with healthcare professionals in an ENT practice, contributing to the overall patient experience and outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct allergy testing procedures under the supervision of healthcare providers. Assist in the evaluation and management of patients with allergic conditions. Provide education to patients regarding allergy management and treatment options. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to allergy testing and treatments. Collaborate with internal medicine teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Support patient service initiatives to enhance the overall patient experience. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with best practices in allergy care. Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards during all procedures. Experience Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology is essential for effective communication and understanding of patient needs. Previous experience in an ENT practice setting preferred. Familiarity with internal medicine practices and protocols related to allergy treatment is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient service and support throughout the treatment process.
