EST Job Responsibilities:
- TheMedical Assistant is responsible for supporting both the front andback office, including greeting and rooming patients, scheduling,answering phones, taking vitals, drawing blood, administeringvaccines, and providing additional clinical support whereverneeded.
Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the center’sstaff is a key ingredient to success in this position.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of medical assistantexperience (in addition to an externship)
- Medical AssistantCertification is required
- Active BLS or CPR Certification isrequired
- Phlebotomy/venipuncture and Electronic Medical Record(EMR) experience required.
- Attention to detail, ability tocommunicate effectively with patients and strong computer skillsrequired
