PM Key Responsibilities:
Deliver patient care at the appropriate skill level. Organize the clinical environment and assist in patient care situations. Identify patient needs or problems and relay data to the healthcare team. Follow established policies and procedures, including infection control and privacy protocols. Complete mandatory training as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification, or ability to obtain certification within 180 days of employment. Basic computer literacy with intermediate Excel skills. Solid knowledge of medical terminology. Proven ability to remain calm and act effectively in emergency situations. Strong communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant. Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding. Bilingual skills are a plus.
