Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Office Assistant to join our team. The Medical Office Assistant will provide essential administrative and clinical support in a healthcare setting. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Duties:

• Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
• Update patient records with accurate and current information
• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations
• Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and common areas
• Provide medical administrative support, such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy
• Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and healthcare providers
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is an asset.
