Medical Receptionist & Medical Assistant

• Davenport FL / Clermont FL 115 Lake Davenport Boulevard, Davenport, FL 33897 We are looking for a Medical Receptionist & Medical assistant for full time hours and available until 6pm.

This is an entry level position and a great opportunity for someone looking to transition into the medical field from another job type or a medical assistant new grad. Our patients love that! And they will love you too. As a Medical Receptionist you will be responsible for:

• Courteously check in/out patients greeting each patient by name.
• Answering incoming phone calls.
• Collect copayments upon check in.
• Accurately update patient demographics. As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for:
• Rooming patients and taking vitals
• Drawing blood, assisting with set up of procedures.
• Creating procedure notes and assisting with documentation.
• Assisting manager with ordering all medications and supplies.
• Obtaining referrals and authorizations for treatment. Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist Candidate will possess the following abilities:
• Upbeat, energetic and friendly, positive attitude.
• Responsible, dependable and independent. Never late for work.
• Excellent computer skills, type 30+ wpm, with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Prior experience, education and/or certification helpful.
• Amazing phone skills. Ability to answer multiple phone lines, using a polite tone and manner, while being understood fluently.
• Comfortable discussing, collecting and asking for payments from patients.
• Bilingual preferred. (English and Spanish) Monday 8:15am
• 6:15pm Tuesday 9:00am
• 1:15pm Wednesday 8:15am
• 6:15pm Thursday 8:15am
• 6:15pm Friday 8:15am
• 5:15pm 45 minute lunch break This is a Full-time time position requiring you to work 3 evenings a week until 6:15pm.
