Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently looking to hire a Medical Assistant for their client in Stanford ,FL location .
Job Type

• Temp (3months with Possible extension)

• 8am to 5pm(M-F)

  Roles and Responsibilities
• Rooms patients according to policy and procedures, prepares patient for examination
• Records patient care documentation in medical record accurately and in a timely manner
• Provide data reporting and tracking on HEDIS measures
• Consistently exhibits behavior andmunication skills that demonstratemitment to superior customer service, including quality and care and concern with each and every internal and external customer
• Under direction and supervision of physician, administers medications, administers immunizations, EKGs, ear washes, and other patient services. Assists in simple office and minor surgical procedures. Assists with the education of the patient and/or family as directed by the physician
• Performs venipuncture under the direction of a physician or advance care practitioner
• s patients as needed to give testing results instructions from the physician and scheduling of necessary visits. Answers telephone inquiries and triage calls
• All laboratory duties including drawing, spinning, prepping blood for testing and maintaining appropriate logs. Acts as liaison between all independent lab services and the center
  Must have qualifications/experience:
• High school graduate, GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy Skills
• Microsoft Experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• 1+ years of MA experience in a primary care setting
• Experience working with eCW
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) language proficiency
• Knowledge of ICD
• 10 and CPT coding
  Type of certification required:
  Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification or registration or the ability to obtain the designation within 180 days of employment
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross) or the ability to obtain within 30 days

Pay Details:

$24.34 per hour
