Responsibilities:
Serve as a liaison between physicians and patients Greet patients, answer questions, and provide a welcoming experience Take vitals, record patient information, and prepare charts Update, file, and scan medical documents into EHR systems Schedule appointments, answer phones, and relay test results to patients Set up and clean exam rooms before and after procedures Educate patients on medications, special diets, and procedure preparations Arrange imaging, labs, and other physician-ordered procedures Process medication refills and communicate with pharmacies Obtain prior authorizations for prescriptions as needed Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times Pay rate can be negotiated based on experience.
