Medical Assistant AtWork Sanford, FL 32771 Medical Assistant Job Opportunity We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves supporting providers and delivering exceptional patient care in both outpatient and emergency settings.
Responsibilities:
Take vital signs, prepare patients for exams, and manage check-in/out via EMR. Administer medications, venipuncture, non-IV injections, and collect lab specimens. Perform a 48-hour chart check, schedule appointments, and scan/exams/files. Troubleshoot provider and staff issues and support emergency procedures as needed.
Qualifications:
Completion of Medical Assistant Training and BLS certification required. Certified/registered by AAMA or AMT; bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) preferred.
