We are looking to add a Medical Assistant in our Cardiology Department at Baptist Heart Specialists in Fleming Island, Florida. This opening is a full-time opportunity. Some travel to other locations is required when needed.
This position is for Baptist Heart Specialists Fleming Island in Fleming Island. This position is for back office. The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as administering EKGs and rooming patients. Experience required.
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Provides nursing assistance to physician
Obtains vital signs
Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
Maintains medical documentation
Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
Processes prescription requests and referrals
