• The role you’ll contribute:
• The Pathology Laboratory Assistant III performs various laboratory support procedures in assigned anatomical pathology areas. Work customarily involves practical knowledge in various laboratory procedures and support functions

• + •Ensures the ordering, receiving, processing, and labeling activities for Pathology laboratory specimens are performed according to SOPs•+ •Ensures cleaning and disinfecting activities of the work area and equipment are performed•+ •May assist with managing supply inventories and ensure supplies are available for use•+ •Performs duties in a timely manner, maintains supplies, and ensures cleanliness of the work area•+ •Prepares, assigns and delivers pathology slides for histology and cytology laboratories to pathologists•The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed•:•Minimum qualifications•: + •High school degree or equivalent•+ •One year of relevant healthcare experience•This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
