Pediatric Outpatient Clinic Job Summary:
A well-established pediatric outpatient clinic in Forest Park, GA seeking a dedicated and experienced Bilingual Medical Assistant (Spanish-English) to join our growing team. This is a full-time role focused on back-office clinical support for a busy and supportive pediatric practice.
Key Qualifications:
Bilingual – Fluent in Spanish and English Minimum 2 years ‘ experience as a Medical Assistant in Pediatrics or Family Medicine At least 1 year of vaccine administration experience using GRITS Proficient in venipuncture/phlebotomy Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with pediatric patients
Job Duties:
Clinical Responsibilities:
Prepare exam rooms for pediatric visits Obtain patient vitals and medical history Perform hearing and vision screenings (including OAE) Conduct basic lab tests: UA, Strep, CBC, Lipid panel, Spirometry Perform blood draws and assist with lab collections
Administrative Responsibilities:
Record and manage immunizations through GRITS Enter patient data and vitals into EPIC (EHR) Handle prescription refill requests and documentation Upload lab results and flag for physician review Assist with basic CPT and ICD coding Answer and triage nurse calls Maintain back-office supply inventory Why Work With Us?
