Our Client, a Primary Care Service company, is looking for aCertified Medical Assistant for their Marietta, GA location.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to patients, assistthem with the registration process, answer patient questions inperson and over the phone, including outreach to patients Trainlocal teams on the registration process and support transition oftechnology systems Occasional travel to other office locations tosupport training events Capture relevant information about thepatient’s health and healthcare experience while rooming patients,taking vitals, administering point-of-care testing, and performingstandard age and condition-appropriate screening assessments Assistwith the coordination of post-visit care by scheduling appointmentswith specialists, coordinating referrals, and sharing informationto the patient’s internal and external care team Collaborate withproviders to monitor the health of a panel of patients anddetermine if they are up to date on preventive measures Participatein the daily operations of a primary care practice, such asanswering incoming phone calls, responding to emails, assistingwith front desk inquiries, and ensuring the general upkeep of theclinical space Assist in providing patient education on chronicdisease management and coach patients using an action-planningmodel based on motivational interviewing techniques Provideanticipatory preventive guidance to families with children byestablishing healing relationships with members and families
Requirements:
Standard Health Coach requirement: At least 1 year ofexperience in a high touch customer service or patient facing rolein a healthcare setting required Strong written and verbalcommunication skills Experience working on collaborative, diverseand feedback-driven multi-disciplinary teams A proven track recordof persisting through change, demonstrating a forward thinkingperspective when under pressure, and consistently stepping up totake action on challenges Proficiency in computer technology suchas typing, navigating the internet, working with new mobilesmartphone applications, and using multiple software systemssimultaneously Why Should You Apply?
