of Georgia North 4800 Olde Towne Parkway, Marietta, GA 30068 We are searching for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) that is bilingual. Our ideal candidate must be coachable, personable, and possess strong problem solving skills. This role will interchangeable to support front desk responsibilities when needed and appropriate. •Employee will work in the Marietta and Woodstock offices (based on need for coverage).•Marietta Office – 4800 Olde Towne Pkwy, Marietta, GA 30068 Woodstock Office – 900 Towne Lake Pkwy, Woodstock, GA 30189 Duties in this position include but not limited to: Preparing exam rooms for patient visits Interviewing the patient & entering medical history into the EMR system Cleaning Exam Rooms Perform Blood-Draw & Handling lab specimens Returning patient voicemails daily Reviewing reports & prescription requests with the provider Authorizations for prescriptions Stocking rooms/ordering supplies Scrubbing/sanitizing medical equipment/tools Scheduling patient appointments Front Desk Responsibilities include the following: Greeting patients, obtaining and verifying all insurance information, having all appropriate forms completed and signed prior to visit with the medical provider, entering demographic and insurance information into the computer system, accepting and processing payments for the office visit. Answering the phones Directing phone calls and visitors to the appropriate locations Scheduling appointments of all types (over the phone and in person with patients) Opening and closing the office Checking patients in and out for appointments Verifying demographic and insurance information Ensuring that all online forms necessary are completed for each patient Scanning in documents and labeling them correctly Receiving and signing for packages Organizing faxes Keeping the waiting areas clean and tidy Collecting all balances and copayments at check out and over the phone Communicating with the business and clinical departments to ensure quality patient care Any projects or tasks requested by the Front Office Manager or Practice Administrator Ensuring that all patients and visitors feel welcome (in-person and on the phone) Requirements for this position include: Minimum of 2 years CMA experience A positive attitude & professional demeanor Possess excellent communication skills with staff & patients Must be comfortable with venipuncture Must excel in fast-paced environment & be willing to ask questions Strong grammar/writing skills/computer skills If you feel you’re the perfect candidate for us, we would love to hear from you!
