Our client is currently seeking a full-time, Certified Medical Assistant in Alpharetta, Georgia. A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is a vital member of the healthcare team, responsible for providing both administrative and clinical support to medical providers. This role requires a combination of technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a strong commitment to patient care. This job will have the following responsibilities: Scheduling and managing patient appointments Handling patient check-in and check-out processes Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records Processing insurance claims and handling billing inquiries Managing medical supplies and inventory Taking and recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration rate) Assisting with medical examinations and procedures Preparing patients for examinations and treatments Administering medications as directed by a physician Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens Performing basic laboratory tests (e.g., urinalysis, rapid strep tests) Assisting with minor procedures (e.g., wound care, injections)
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program
Certification:
Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Experience:
