The Lead Clinical Assistant performs all required duties of a Clinical Assistant additionally as well assist all Clinical Assistant within their designated office.
Duties:
Training and orientation of new Clinical Assistants Includes, but not limited to, how to operate a C-Arm, X-Rays, basic phlebotomy, patient history, basic vitals, how to order, inventory, and, dispense DME/Medication, etc., and any other Clinical Assistant duties as needed. Escalate concerns to the Clinical Director to address performance issues or concerns of other Clinical Assistants staff Make sure the workspace is maintained and presentable Ensure that all forms are stocked and current Can act as an experienced Clinical Assistant and assist with patient concerns Achieve and Maintain Optimal Patient Flow throughout their Encounter.
Job Requirements:
Demonstrates superior level of attention to detail 3-5 Years Minimum experience as Medical Assistant within Orthopaedic Setting required. World Class Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Nextgen, and other EHR systems. Ability to effectively deliver clear and concise communication via face to face, telephone, or virtual communication. Ability to excel as a team player on a daily basis & foster positive relationships between all departments and team members Strong planning and organizational skills and ability to be a self-starter
Education Requirements:
Minimum High School Diploma. Phlebotomist, X-ray Tech, or other prior related job experience is preferred.
