Medical Assistant Hope Kidney Clinic – 5.0 Roswell, GA Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $15 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits On-the-job training Qualifications Nephrology Clinic Entry level Full Job Description We are looking to hire two full-time medical assistants to join our team at Hope Kidney Clinic, working under the supervision of Dr. Sirisha Guthikonda. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates in their gap year(s) to gain clinical experience in a specialist nephrology clinic. We prefer to hire candidates who have graduated or will graduate in May 2025. The position will start in early August.
JOB DETAILS
Location & Schedule:
Roswell (1240 Upper Hembree Rd, Suite D, Roswell
GA 30076
): Monday and Wednesday, 12 PM-5 PM Canton (460 Northside Cherokee Blvd, Suite 430, Canton, GA 30115): Thursday, 8 AM-1 PM Additional responsibilities include 1-2 hours of chart preparation the night before clinic days. You must be available to commute to both locations. You must also have flexible availability on Tuesdays and Fridays to input lab orders as they come in (remote).
ROLE OVERVIEW
Front Desk Duties:
Schedule and confirm patient appointments. Manage incoming and outgoing clinic calls. Handle patient inquiries with professionalism and care.
Clinical Duties:
Triaging patients and preparing them for their visits. Providing direct patient care and communication. Preparing charts, including reading and managing patient lab results
Administrative Tasks:
Assisting with clinic operations such as billing, prior authorizations, and insurance. Support the team with any additional tasks required for smooth clinic operations.
REQUIREMENTS A
proactive mindset to handle labs and other responsibilities outside in person clinic hours Dependable, punctual, and committed to the 20-hour-per-week schedule.
