Aesthetics is seeking a Medical Assistant for our growing medical spa in Vining’s/Smyrna, GA. This position involves providing non-invasive treatment options for anti aging and improving skin health for the patients at Chin Up! Aesthetics. We are seeking someone who can join our team and be autonomous in their practice and feel empowered to grow this new range of services.

Our work environment includes:

Modern office setting Support the medical providers such as Nurse Practitioners and medical esthetician. Educate patients on cosmetic procedures and selling retail skin care products. Obtains patient history, medication list, patient photos and any other information required and documents chart. Sets up equipment and instruments in exam room according to scheduled procedure or anticipate medical provider needs if a non-scheduled procedure is likely. Assists medical providers with injections, blood draw, and other minor treatments. Assists estheticians with laser and light treatments. Correctly summarizes and documents what the physician says during an examination, including actual physical exam information, assessment and treatment plan. Stocks all rooms and medication cabinets, properly disposing of all expired medications and performs room and instrument sanitation. Accurately performs and documents inventory of retail products. Serves as backup for front desk duties, including but not limited to, answering phones, scheduling appointments, inputting new patient demographics, collecting and posting payments, checking in/out all patient appointments, balancing and all end of day closing procedures.
