Medical Assistant ENT of Georgia Sandy Springs, GA 30328 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This position requires a strong understanding of ENT terminology, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Hours of operation:
Mon-Thursday (8:15-4:30 pm and Fridays 7:45-12:00). No weekends. Paid Holidays. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and in-office procedures. Obtain and record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort. Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures. Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Qualifications Previous ENT experience is required. Knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and patient care practices. ModMed experience is a bonus. Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with ENT procedures ( VivAer, RhinAer, Turbinate Reductions, Balloon sinuplasty, excisional biopsies, etc.) Commitment to providing compassionate care to diverse patient populations.
