Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Medical Assistant to join our innovative health program at our Norcross clinic. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about patient care and excels in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As our clinic grows, there will be opportunities to take on greater responsibilities and advance within the role. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage warmly with patients are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct phlebotomy and administer injections, including testosterone, Gonadorelin, B12, and other vitamins. Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals. Manage patient check-in processes, verifying personal and insurance information. Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked. Record and monitor patients’ vital signs. Collect and prepare lab specimens for analysis. Assist in medical coding and billing procedures.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited medical assistant training program. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred. Excellent customer service, communication, and multitasking skills. Proficient with computers and electronic health record systems. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Committed to upholding patient confidentiality.
Compensation and Benefits:
Part-time position, offering $18.00 – $22.00 per hour.
Expected hours:
24 per week to start and move to 40 hrs per week
Working Hours:
8-hour shifts, primarily during daytime hours. Monday to Friday schedule.
