Medical Assistant/ Front desk Gwinnett Neurology And Sleep Disorders Clinic 2331 Henry Clower Boulevard, Snellville, GA 30078 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Duties Greet and assist patients and visitors with a friendly demeanor, providing information about services and directing them as needed. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate data entry and confidentiality of medical records. Coordinate communication between patients and medical staff, relaying messages promptly. Schedule appointments and handle cancellations or rescheduling requests efficiently. Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and accessible. Utilize medical terminology to accurately document patient interactions and support medical administrative tasks. Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to inpatient care settings. Experience working in hospitals or urgent care facilities is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
