The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and administrative support, with experience in various medical settings including dermatology, urgent care, and hospital medicine. This role requires a compassionate individual who is committed to providing high-quality care to patients while assisting healthcare professionals in delivering efficient medical services. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform intake assessments, including taking vital signs and recording patient histories. Administer medications as directed by physicians and maintain accurate medication records. Utilize EHR systems for documenting patient information and managing appointments. Prepare patients for X-rays and other diagnostic tests as required. Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Ensure compliance with medical terminology, ICD coding, and documentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment. Support outpatient and inpatient care, including experience in Level I and Level II trauma centers. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient service and outcomes. Skills Proficient knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Experience in dermatology, urgent care, internal medicine, geriatrics, or emergency medicine preferred. Familiarity with EHR systems for effective patient record management. Basic life support certification is required; advanced certifications are a plus. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff. Ability to perform intake procedures and assess vital signs accurately. Experience in hospital settings or clinics is highly desirable, including OR experience or PICU exposure. Understanding of medication administration protocols and safety practices.
