Spanish Speaking Medical Assistant Position Available In Gwinnett, Georgia

Spanish Speaking Medical Assistant PedsMD Pediatric Urgent Care 4941 South Old Peachtree Road, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092

Duties:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
• Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Prepare patients for medical tests and procedures
• Operate portable X-ray machine (training provided).
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
• Administer injections or medications as directed by healthcare providers
• Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of clinic and medical equipment.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records
• Provide medical administrative support, including check-in/checkout, scheduling, phone duties.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Experience with medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing records.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Basic life support (BLS) certification; will provide PALS training if needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient service
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Bilingual is a plus
