The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting medical staff and ensuring that patients receive high-quality care. This position involves working in a PCP office setting, where you will assist with both administrative and clinical tasks. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked. Record patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately. Administer basic life support as needed and assist in emergency situations. Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle medical records. Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis. Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a Level II Trauma Center setting. Support inpatient care by assisting with daily activities of patients in hospital medicine or geriatrics. Skills Proficiency in basic life support techniques. Knowledge of physiology to understand patient needs effectively. Experience or familiarity with urgent care environments and emergency medicine practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting, including operating rooms (OR). Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Attention to detail for accurate documentation and patient care processes.
