In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the surgical team and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will possess or be willing to learn a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent organizational skills, a friendly telephone voice, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist in preparing patients for surgical procedures by ensuring they are comfortable and informed. Maintain accurate documentation and review care plans to ensure compliance with medical standards. Manage files and maintain organized patient information records, including dental terminology when applicable. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available for procedures. Support the office by performing administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and answering inquiries. Requirements Previous experience as a receptionist is preferred. Willingness to learn and understand medical terminology Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
