What We’re Looking For:
Strong planning, organization, and coordination skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities Previous scheduling, administrative, and/or clinical experience in a surgical setting preferred High School Diploma or GED preferred Computer proficiency required Knowledge of medical/surgical procedures, specifically within the OR, is a plus

What You Will Do:
Coordinate and manage all activities related to the smooth and efficient flow of the Operating Room schedule, ensuring timely and well-prepared surgical procedures. Organize and oversee the flow of scheduled OR procedures to support timely and efficient patient care Coordinate OR schedules with nursing units to ensure patients are prepared and accessible for surgery Communicate case updates, delays, and changes to all relevant staff and departments Confirm presence of all required information in patient charts prior to procedures Serve as a lead resource and support for OR clerical staff, providing scheduling, data entry, and documentation assistance Collaborate with nursing staff, anesthesia, and physicians for patient readiness Maintain a high level of responsiveness and accuracy when handling inquiries from both internal and external customers Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of role and knowledge
