Assist patients throughout provider visits, in-office procedures, and diagnostic testing to enhance their care experience. Perform both clinical and clerical duties, including documentation, patient education, and office reception tasks. Deliver care in a warm, professional, and team-oriented manner consistent with CIS’s mission and values. How You’ll Drive Our Mission Forward Collect and document vital signs, medical history, medications, and other relevant data to support accurate and complete provider evaluations. Execute physician orders in the EMR, including scheduling tests, performing EKGs, drawing blood, and setting up monitors. Provide patient education on diagnostic procedures and ensure accurate preparation and consent for testing. Facilitate patient flow and communication by coordinating messages between departments and updating wait times. Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam and procedure rooms; perform weekly OSHA and safety checks. Support the front office with scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, and maintaining HIPAA compliance. Exhibit professional communication and relationships with patients, families, and team members. What Makes You a Great Match Certified as a CMA, RMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or NCMA through an approved agency, preferred. Active Basic Life Support certification. Skilled in performing EKGs, venipuncture, monitor setup, and patient mobility assistance. Proficient with EMR systems, documentation, and electronic communication across departments. Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to patient-centered care. Reliable, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Dedicated to professional conduct, HIPAA compliance, and continuous quality improvement in patient care.
