Contract To Perm Key Responsibilities:

Actively participate in patient care, including rooming patients, taking blood pressure, performing EKGs, and recording vitals in EPIC. Perform other procedures as necessary, including transporting patients to the ER when needed. Manage the overall flow of patient care sessions, ensuring smooth communication with front desk staff and providers. Accurately use the Ambulatory Patient Tracking system. Ensure exam rooms and phlebotomy areas are clean and stocked with necessary supplies. Maintain and calibrate clinical equipment, including EKG machines, and manage equipment repairs through Bio-Medical Engineering. Provide coverage for Medical Assistant shortages in other Cardiology areas as needed. Promote patient and staff satisfaction by demonstrating a professional and courteous attitude.

Licenses/Certifications:

Medical Assistant Certification (Required) BLS Certification (Required) Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants (Preferred)

Education:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (Required) Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Required)

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a
