Hadley Family Medicine began with family
- brothers Peter and Robert Weitzman (both physicians) along with medical school classmate Allan Baustin, MD, founded the practice nearly 30 years ago.
While the practice now has access to the resources of the larger Medical Group, the family environment is felt just as strongly today. Located at 234 Russell Street, Suite 7, in Hadley, MA, our Family Medicine practice offers comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, newborn through adult. We are certified as a Level 2 patient-centered medical home.
Job Summary
We are seeking full-time, 40-hour Clinic/Practice Assistant to support the practice onsite, Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:30pm. The Clinic/Practice Assistant serves as the face of our medical group and plays a key role in managing the patient experience on the reception/administrative support side!

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Licenses and Credentials
Certified Medical Administrative Assistant [CMAA]

- Various Issuers preferred
Experience
office experience 2-3 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Proficiency with all Office Suite, Knowledge of office operations and standards and understanding of office procedures including filing, copying, scanning, printing and faxing.
- Ability to use phone system and manage more non-routine phone calls and solve routine issues as appropriate.
- Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience and talking to others to convey information effectively.
- Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents, to correspond and communicate with others clearly and effectively (including composing/editing e-mail, memos and letters), and to take complete and accurate messages.
- Managing one’s own time and the time of others.
- Well organized and good time management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively, follow established protocols, and work within systems.
