Clinic/Practice Assistant, OBGYN and Midwifery

    We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Clinic/Practice Assistant to support both of our practices onsite.

The schedule consists of 4,10-hour days (Monday through Friday) from 7:30am to 6:00pm with Tuesdays being the day off!
These team members serves as the face of our medical group and plays a key role in managing the patient experience on the reception/administrative support side. This role is primarily focused on front desk support and answering phones with a mix of administration support as well!
We are looking for well-rounded customer service professionals who can multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a high-volume outpatient setting! Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
No Licenses and Credentials Experience
healthcare office experience 0-1 year required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Basic Proficiency with all Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of office operations and standards and understanding of office procedures including filing, copying, scanning, printing and faxing.
  • Ability to use phone system and manage more non-routine phone calls and solve routine issues as appropriate.
  • Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience and Talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents, to correspond and communicate with others clearly and effectively (including composing/editing e-mail, memos and letters), and to take complete and accurate messages.
  • Managing one’s own time and the time of others.
  • Well organized and good time management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively, follow established protocols, and work within systems.
