The Pulmonary Medicine division is widely recognized for the breadth of services we provide and the depth of experience our clinicians bring to each patient. Every year we conduct more than 15,000 outpatient visits and care for hundreds of inpatients. In addition, we specialize in caring for children and adults with cystic fibrosis (https://www.childrenshospital.org/conditions/cystic-fibrosis) . Key Responsibilities + Assisting clinician during examinations (i.e. obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature and blood pressure, and performing other related duties according to specific needs of clinic). + Scheduling, receiving and/or registering patients, visitors and staff for appointments or procedures. + Collecting, verifying and recording required information according to established procedures and instructions. + Identifying and reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse. + Obtaining records, files and/or results for appointments and entering related information on appropriate computer systems. + Answering, screening and routing telephone calls and performing general office support tasks. + Transporting patients, supplies and equipment as needed. + Working a schedule of 40 hours per week, 830a- 5p, Monday through Friday. Minimal Qualifications Education + HS Diploma or GED. Experience + 1 year of Clinical Assistant experience or related experience. + Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
